This session covers the OPEN PALM HAND STRIKE. Follow these easy steps:
With open hands at face height but kept away from your face, still with bent and close elbows, send your open palm forward aiming towards your opponent’s nose and beyond it.
Connect with the palm area closest to your wrist and extend your arm to move the opponent’s head backwards by sending your shoulder into the strike.
Recoil backwards at least as fast as you strike forward on the same level.
To double up, repeat the strike with the other palm as you recoil the first hand.
If you lose balance forward, step forward with the leg matching the first hand and bring the other leg with you to achieve an erect but stable body position. Exhale once during the strike(s).
